One Star offers a solid benefits package for it's employees.
OSTC provides variety of options on PPO for each employee to choose from. The plans are with a major medical carrier. OSTC pays for over 75% of the PPO premium cost for the employee and also contributes significantly towards the premium cost for dependents. OSTC is negotiating with HMO provider. Once the negotiation is final, employees will have an option to switch to HMO.
Short and Lonq Term Disability Insurance
OSTC provides employees with short-term and long-term disability coverage. OSTC pays for the full cost of this disability insurance. The short-term disability coverage will cover employees for the first 13 weeks of disability. Long-term disability coverage begins when the short-term ends.
Life and AD&D Insurance
OSTC provides coverage with a benefit that is based on one times your annual salary to a maximum of $150,000 at no cost to you. In the event of accidental death, the benefit would be two times your annual salary.
Pre-Tax Deduction
OSTC has a Cafeteria Plan. This plan allows employees to pay for their share of the health and dental insurance premiums on a pre-tax basis. Employees may also participate in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account and/or the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, which allows for payment of some expenses on a pre-tax basis.

Educational Assistance
OSTC offers tuition reimbursement for courses at an accredited school that are related to an employee's job. OSTC also offers professional development and training
OSTC offers ten paid holidays per calendar year.
Annual LeaveEmployees earn leave each pay period. Employees with less than three years of service earn 3.33 hours per pay period (10 days per year). Five hours per pay (15 days per year) are earned after 3 years of service. Twenty days per year are earned (6.66 hours per pay) after 6 years of service. Employees with 13 years of service earn 8.33 hours per pay period (25 days per year).
Personal LeaveAll employees are allotted up to 5 personal days (40 hours) per calendar year.
401 (k) Retirement PlanOSTC has a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan. Employees may begin contributions on the first pay period of the month following their hire date. OSTC matches the employee after a six month waiting period. The match is $0.50 on each $1.00 contributed up to 6% of employee deferral contributions. Therefore the maximum match is 6.0% of eligible compensation.
Referral BonusOSTC actively encourages employees to refer qualified applicants to our company. If an employee refers someone who is subsequently hired, the employee is eligible for a referral bonus.
Professional MembershipsOSTC will sponsor employees for the cost of membership in approved, job related organizations.
Direct DepositOSTC offers Direct Deposit of paychecks to all employees.
